Snow White and the Hunstman Trailer

Well the other day I showed you the beautiful poster released by Universal for ‘Snow White and the Huntsman‘ and now the first trailer has been released and truly cemented my want to see this movie. I’m just going to ignore that Kristen Stewart is in it and focus, much like the trailer does, on the awesomeness that is Charlize Theron. I really hope this trailer (which for some reason they’re calling a teaser trailer which it clearly isn’t) reflects the movie and is mostly from the perspective of the evil witch (Theron) because then it will stand a chance of not being completely screwed up. Not only that but I do find it hard to believe that someone like  the barely attractive, fish faced Kristen Stewart is being pitted as potentially fairer and more beautiful than the ever stunning and genuinely gorgeous Charlize Theron, I mean there’s just no comparison.

Anyway, check the trailer below and prepare to feel that little bit of excitement flare to life inside of you for this epic looking fantasy tale.

The art banner for Universals June 2012 release of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ is so pretty! It almost makes me forget that Kristen Stewart and her sourpuss face are attached to this film. She really is enough to turn me off this movie, I think she’s a terrible actress and extremely ungracious in the face of success.

Also starring the hunk Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron, this tale is meant to be an epic Lord of the Rings style take on the Snow White tale so don’t be expecting a live action version of the Disney cartoon. That would probably be more along the lines of Relativity’s ‘Mirror Mirror‘ which is a lighter take on the Snow White tale which is due out in March. That’s right, two Snow White movies in less than three months, good originality and spacing there Hollywood, as per usual.

I still think the best Snow White retelling is the 1997 ‘Snow White: Tale of Terror‘ with Sam Neill and the best actress ever, Sigourney Weaver, as the evil stepmother witch. It’s so dark and evil, love it.
